The NCPA are organising their prestigious
Championship Show on 9th Sept "The Northern Counties Pony of the Year Show"
To register your Show as a qualifier please follow the instructions below
1) To register complete the enclosed form and return to the address on the form
2) A list of 'Qualifying Shows' will be published, free of charge, on our website www.thencpa.co.ukr)
3) Your show & contact details will be listed on our website www.thencpa.co.uk
Show Secretaries are asked to follow four important stages. The procedure must be followed or qualifying
cards will NOT be issued.
1. Enter your N.C.P.A. affiliation number in your schedule (new shows will have it supplied at the proof stage) Please note: Affil. Nos. change by YEAR ONLY.
2. A proof schedule (hard copy) must be sent to the address above before printing.
3. Judges for Pony of the Year Qualifiers must be selected from recognised panels.
4. A final schedule (hard copy) must be forwarded to the address above at least ONE MONTH before the date of the show for qualification cards to be issued.
Qualification cards must be issued by ring stewards when the rosettes are distributed in the ring to the first & second placed ponies.
To prevent excessive printing costs or Secretarial work the wording required is:
** This show is a qualifier for the N.C.P.A. Pony of the Year Show in September. First and second prizewinners in appropriate classes will qualify **
For shows offering Star Rosettes the wording required is as above PLUS
** An NCPA Star Rosette will be awarded in classes ...................(Show Sec.to enter class no's). Exhibitors must enter the ring wearing their N.C.P.A.Badge and present their current year's N.C.P.A. Membership Card

The NCPA Secretary will be pleased to assist any Show Secretary concerning the eligibility of classes which qualify
First membership subscriptions can be paid at any time of the year, but memberships are always
renewable as from 1st January in any year. The membership card has a number which is
unique to each individual member each year
We frequently get asked how a person
goes about joining the NCPA Judges' Panel. Any member who is already on the Judging Panel
of a Breed
Society may apply to be automatically accepted onto the equivalent NCPA Panel. View our basic procedure online now
